Oscillation Winding is where multiple coils are welded together from end to end to produce one large coil on top of a paper sleeve. The goal of reciprocating winding is to produce longer metal strips wound on a single bobbin. This reduces coil set-up time, increases productivity and reduces the risk of damage due to over-handling.
